HealthTrackRx Announces Promotion of Dr. Jay Reddy to Chief Scientific Officer
Denton, TX – July 1, 2024 – HealthTrackRx, the nation’s premier molecular diagnostic testing laboratory, today announced the promotion of Dr. Jay Reddy to Chief Scientific Officer. In this newly created, elevated role, Dr. Reddy will continue as a member of the Executive Leadership Team.
This promotion recognizes Dr. Reddy’s exceptional leadership in providing scientific guidance to our organization and highlights the emerging opportunities for him to lead the development of our scientific roadmap and research agenda, which encompass both short—and long-term objectives.
Dr. Reddy has been a driving force in the Public Health Emergency (PHE) responses to COVID-19 and Monkeypox, significantly alleviating the national testing burden through collaboration with the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and other federal & state public health laboratories. His efforts led to the development of high-throughput testing capacities, addressing gaps that FDA-approved tests could not meet during surges in demand. Additionally, he spearheaded the development of a comprehensive clinical education program aimed at healthcare providers, promoting guideline-driven diagnostic usage to enhance antibiotic stewardship in outpatient care settings.

Working in collaboration with Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Steven Goldberg, Dr. Reddy will champion the external promotion of HealthTrackRx’s differentiated testing and “next morning” results for use by providers when caring for patients presenting with outpatient infectious diseases. The pair will manage key provider relationships, spearhead healthcare provider education, and collaborate discussions with payers as the Company seeks to advance coverage and reimbursement policy.

Dr. Reddy holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from Texas Woman’s University, where he also completed his undergraduate studies. He has held various leadership roles at HealthTrackRx, including Senior Vice President of Laboratory and Clinical Strategy and Vice President of Lab Operations. His work has been published in numerous scientific journals and has received several prestigious awards for his contributions to neurobiology research and public health.
